These are very difficult times for most. Give yourself grace. Allow yourself to ask for help. It’s ok to not be ok! .

On the flip side there are ways to prioritize self care. There are ways to prioritize YOU!

Self care is so important, and it can be difficult to make time for it. Here are some tips to prioritize self care:

  • Make a list of things that make you feel relaxed and fulfilled and make it a goal to do at least one of those things each day.

  • Set aside time in your day to focus on yourself. Whether it's a few minutes of meditation, a long walk, or just sitting in silence, make sure you have time to check in with yourself.

  • Ask for help when you need it. Don't be afraid to lean on your friends and family for support.

  • Make time for activities you enjoy. Read a book, take a yoga class, or just take a break from being busy and enjoy the moment.

  • Eat healthy and stay hydrated. Eating nutritious foods and staying hydrated can help you feel energized and boost your mood.

  • Get plenty of sleep. Make sure you're getting enough restful sleep to help keep your mind and body healthy.

  • Take a mental health day. Don't be afraid to take a day off to focus on your mental wellbeing.

  • Let go of perfectionism. Don't be hard on yourself if things don't go the way you planned. Try to be flexible and recognize that it's okay to make mistakes.

  • Talk to a therapist. If you're feeling overwhelmed, a therapist can help you find ways to manage your stress and prioritize self care.
